How to Throw a Last-Minute Bachelorette Party

Planning an impromptu bachelorette party doesn’t need to be stressful. As long as you combine good friends with delicious food and drinks, you’re sure to have a fantastic time celebrating the bride-to-be! Here are some quick tips to ensure an unforgettable evening:

• Guest list: Be sure to include everyone nearest and dearest to the bride-to-be. Have her review the list before sending out the invites. You want to make sure you include everyone she wants to be there and exclude anyone she does not want to attend. For a quick start, include all bridesmaids, the bride’s mom, the groom’s mom, the bride’s sisters and future sisters-in-law.

• Venue: Choose the venue based on the bride’s personality. Is she outgoing and loves to dance? Find a local nightclub with a great DJ. Is she a foodie? Perhaps a hot new restaurant would be a great choice. Is she more quiet and low-key? Host the party at home. Still not sure? Ask the bride for her input, after all, this is her special night!

• Refreshments: Whether you decide to go out or host the party at home, make sure there is a variety food and drinks available to suit the guests’ tastes. Choose a signature cocktail to commemorate the evening.

• Décor: Consider the bride’s tastes when choosing the decorations and party favors. If she is conservative, risqué décor wouldn’t be a good choice; perhaps you should go with something more girly and subdued. Don’t forget to pick up a tiara, bride-to-be sash and other accessories!

• Games: There are a wide variety of fun party games that you can play to make the evening unforgettable. From bar games to scavenger hunts, find a game that the bride will enjoy.

With these quick tips, you can plan a bachelorette party she’ll cherish. Whether you have weeks or days to plan, the bride-to-be will appreciate all of your efforts to make this night special!

Celebrity Bachelorette Feature: Katy Perry

Las Vegas is the most popular U.S. destination for both bachelor and bachelorette parties. Thousands flock there each year to celebrate their last night of debauchery before wedding bells ring.

Singer Katy Perry celebrated her upcoming nuptials to British funnyman Russell Brand with a proper Las Vegas-bachelorette party thrown by celebrity-best friend, Rihanna,. Katy and Rihanna were joined by an entourage of 25 of Katy’s nearest and dearest friends.

They kicked off the festivities poolside at the Hard Rock Hotel Beach Club. Katy and her friends enjoyed the afternoon in a VIP cabana complete with plenty of champagne, vodka, beer and snacks. Perry dressed for the bridal theme, wearing a white bikini and veil.

Later that evening, the party took a stretch limousine to see a performance of the Cirque du Soleil show KA. Katy kept up the festive look, wearing a black sequined minidress and small top hat with a veil. After the show, Katy and Rihanna were photographed backstage, posing for photos with the Cirque du Soleil cast.

Next, the group headed to the Tuscan-style restaurant, Ago, for dinner. The bachelorette festivities continued into the wee hours of the morning at XS nightclub. Katy, Rihanna and friends danced the night away at a VIP table.
