Color Themes for Bachelorette Party

As any bride’s wedding day nears, the planning of a bachelorette party is in order! As you begin to plan the perfect bachelorette celebration, consider party colors. What will the colors of the wedding be? As an example, if they are light yellow and cream, go with that as the theme. Use light yellow on the little gift bags and on the items you place in them. Fill the gift bags with things like yellow conversation heart candies, yellow covered mini journals, pineapple upside-down cake or vanilla lotion, etc. Make beautiful yellow and cream colored tissue paper flowers. Use matching napkins and place settings for the pre-party dinner.

Consider a bachelorette costume party! This can be done with one chosen color as well. For example, all the bridesmaids and friends can arrive dressed in the same color, like black, and then add flashy, colored boas, hats, sashes, wigs, etc. For example, use hot pink for the costumes and all the other parts of the party. Of course, the bride-to-be should dress in a different color, such as white, to make her stand out. This will help everyone get in the party mood by making it fun, yet inexpensive.

A popular choice of color for the bachelorette party is hot pink. The hot pink theme could even be used in your menu! It could include pink potato salad, smoked salmon crackers, pink crab stuffed eggs, pink grapefruit citrus salad and strawberry short cake. For the pink potato salad, dice some canned beets to combine with the potatoes, onions and peppers. Use the beet juice to make the dressing pink. Place the smoked salmon on whole crackers and top with sour cream and chives to make the smoked salmon crackers. Add chunks of imitation crab into the egg mixture to show the colors of the pink casing. Combine sections of pink grapefruit, pineapple chunks and sliced bananas into grapefruit shells.

See, planning any bachelorette party takes some serious consideration, right down to the food and wig colors! No matter the color, have fun with it and make sure the bride has a blast! All of your efforts will be remembered forever!

Bachelorette Party Planning!

Marriage is a wonderful thing, but everyone needs that last fling, that last taste of complete independence, before settling down with a permanent partner. Fun Girls with HeartsBefore their wedding day, the bachelorette party gives the bride-to-be a chance to cut loose, shake off those jitters, and have a great time. Brides need that little moment of wild abandon, but with all the wedding planning going on, they certainly don’t have time to plan a party as well. For whoever steps up and takes on the job, here are a few tips to get things running smoothly before the bride takes her walk down the aisle.

  1. Choose one person to be in charge of planning the bachelorette party. Most people choose the maid or matron of honor.
  2. Choose one person to collect the funds that will cover the costs of the bachelorette party. Each party guest contributes her share of the cost. Rather than divvy up the costs during the party, it is easier to collect the funds beforehand.
  3. There are several ways to take care of financing the bride’s night of fun. The bride might pay for herself, but her share might also be paid by a family member or covered by the whole group. If every guest contributes a little extra, this can go towards covering the bride’s expenses without being too onerous for any one person.
  4. Activities for an exciting bachelorette party can range from the tame to the raunchy, depending upon the bride’s taste. For a wild and crazy time, go for male strippers at a night club or dance the night away. For a more sedate but no less fun time, arrange themed games at your home. Make sure that the chosen activity suits the bride.
  5. Meet at one person’s house and hire a limo to drive everyone to the nightclub or other chosen location. This way, everyone arrives together without mishaps and it heightens the sense of a special occasion, adding one more special memory to the night.

The bride’s wedding day will be the start of a new life, so give her a bachelorette party that will be unforgettable, not only for her, but for all, to treasure as a fond memory!
